Stoneweg disposes of former Coca-Cola bottling plant in Madrid on behalf of Icona Capital

Stoneweg completed the sale of a former Coca-Cola bottling plant in Madrid, originally acquired in 2020, to Thor Equities. The site will be transformed into a €600 million state-of-the-art data center by Thor as part of its Thor Digitaland expansion.

Stoneweg SA, the real estate investment advisor, has successfully completed the sale of the former Casbega bottling plant in Fuenlabrada, Madrid, on behalf of the Icona Capital Group. The 211,000 sqm industrial site, acquired by Stoneweg in 2020, is strategically located near Madrid’s inner ring-road, offering excellent transport links.

The buyer, Thor Equities, plans to transform the site into a state-of-the-art data center as part of its Thor Digitaland initiative, with an investment totaling €600 million. This transaction marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between Stoneweg and Icona Capital, who have worked together for over three years.
